Billy and Jimmy go on a mission to save their friends, but before they can do so, they're kidnapped again. However, this time they're able to save their friend Marian from an evil Black warrior.

It added four new stages and enemy characters and was published by Atlus under license from Million Corporation, the company that held the intellectual property rights for the Double Dragon series. Double Dragon Advance was released in 2003, and is still a popular title in the series. The Game Boy Advance remake was developed by Korean developer Eolith.
